The intensity was spot on for those action scenes and dramatic scenes were also well done. The finale Was way mushy but the unexpected ending had me lol again. The thief is injured during his capture and is sent to the hospital. He proves to her that he is a soldier with the help of army doctor Myeong-Joo (Kim Ji-Won).Dae-Young realises his cellphone was stolen by the thief and goes to the hospital to retrieve his cellphone. Shi-Jin and Mo-Yeon begin to date, but due to their jobs their dates don't go well. The drama was okay for me but it was lacking at some parts I'll explain it but first the highlights for me was The Earthquake episode I was literary holding my breath especially with the rescuing scene also this episode made me cry, Then the episode with the North Korea was also the best part and last The episode with the Arabian I applaud Kang Mo-Yeon for being avail to perform the surgery at a very intense situation. You know how hard it is to watch a kdrama that has a storyline that can easily fit in as movie-length, that is instead fleshed out into 16-20 episodes? Literally, just because you have 1-2 important scenes in the episode, doesn't actually make the episode that important, because you wasted all the other parts.DOTS takes all its time and has a grand story that wastes no episodes. It even gives the second pairing a good amount of time to develop.
The music was wonderful, the acting (with the 4 leads) were outstanding, the cinematography was gorgeous, the storyline was filled with very interesting ideals done in a great and wonderful way, and the romance felt just so real. Not trying to put these drama's on a pedestal or anything, but it's clear these were some of the best dramas in recent years.I have probably watched 50 different kdramas and movies since I lived in Korea a few years ago and I was late to this because of the hype. However, apart from romantically, I am finding the plot interesting enough to carry on.Hope it does get better, considering its reputation. The kdrama industry is very much like the anime industry in their own ways.
